The Pines Elanora Gives Local Primary Schools $50,000 Cash!
Today everyone was a WINNER in the 2022 Dollars for Scholars campaign run by The Pines Elanora.
The local shopping centre at the heart of the Palm Beach, Currumbin, Elanora community announced how the $50,000 Dollars for Scholars cash would be distributed to the nine local schools that took part this year. Centre Manager Hilary Jacobs presented the participating local primary schools with cheques for their schools’ winnings today at close of Dollars for Scholars 2022 campaign
$50,000 was presented in total with every school receiving monies, including an extra $1,000 participation bonus.
The final leader board was as follows:
- 1st Prize $16,000 – Currumbin Valley State School
- 2nd Prize $11,000 – Currumbin Community Special School
- 3rd Prize $6,000 – Ingleside State School
- 4th Prize $4,000 – Elanora State School
- 5th Prize $4,000 – St Augustine’s Currumbin Waters
- 6th Prize $3,000 – Currumbin State School
- 7th Prize $2,000 – Gold Coast Christian College
- 8th Prize $2,000 – Palm Beach State School
- 9th Prize $2,000 – St Andrews Lutheran College
Ms Jacobs said “It’s been great to see all the schools’ families get on board with helping their schools to enjoy their share of this cash. Even in the last two days we saw the leader board change, with Elanora State School making a late run, so it’s never a done deal. Congratulations to all our local schools.”
